Was this the only game this season where ND committed more fouls than their opponents?

Home: ND - 24, UNC Wilmington - 20
Home: ND - 16, Valpo - 13
Neutral: ND - 26, Duquesne - 18
At Michigan: ND - 14, Mich - 13
Home: ND - 21, Central Mich - 20
At Oregon State: ND - 16, OS - 16
At TN: ND - 19, TN - 13
At Duke: Nd - 19, Duke - 18
At Wake Forest: ND - 18, WF - 18
NCAA rd 1: ND - 18, Robert Morris - 11
NC: ND - 14, Uconn - 12

So definitely not virgin territory - 9 time in 38 games with 2 tied games - around 30% of their games. A winning team in close games often gets an advantage as fouls in the last minutes can mount up in a come-back bid.

Uconn:
At Temple: 14-11
At Maryland: 12-11
NCAA#1: Uconn 15, PV 13
NCAA#4: Uconn 13, A&M 12
And three tied
Hartford, at Cinci, and AACT Rutgers
Notable that three of the games above were against former assistants where the bench probably got in earlier and played longer than normal.

Overall -
Uconn committed 471 fouls and drew 630 for a .75 ratio and total Uconn fouls per game = 11.78, total both teams = 27.53
ND committed 613 fouls and drew 734 for a .84 ratio and total ND fpg = 16.13, total both teams = 35.45

8 fewer fouls per game makes for more enjoyable watching and a better flow.

Thanks UC - and I agree - I appreciated the relative lack of fouling by our team for the year, and in the championship game in particular.
