Question about the student lot, WF game

So I'm a current student and 2 of my classmates can't make the game, so they gave me their student tickets to give to two of my outsider buddies. The UConn athletics website says they will check Student ID for entrance into the student tailgate lot, but if I drive all of us together and show my ID will that be enough to get in?

Anyone have any past experience with the student lot?
