6’6” CG - #160 in the 246 composite rankings. Quick highlights on Cue the Music Twitter page — has some showtime passing ability. Some Dre Jackson in his game it seems

Maryland, cuse, miami, oregon, psu offers.

I'd imagine that he's due for a rankings bump.

Makes sense as an offer... we need a big guard in 2022

FWIW in the Jersey league he averaged

16.5 ppg
5.5 rpg
5.2 apg

and 2.7 steals

says he made close to 2 from long range each game. That will be the thing that separates his game IMO. Not in love with his finishing at the rim, but he's a huge PG and can pass the rock--that's pretty invaluable.

I am thinking he could end up being the Kadary Richmond of the 2022 class.

Shows a little bit of a left hand here and some more shooting ability... form isn't great. Seems kind of reckless with the ball in his hands--IMG Academy with Karaban will clear that up really quick.

"Copeland was the starting point guard for the Team Melo EYBL team that made it to the semi-finals of the 44-team bracket. The 6-foot-6 Copeland plays with a great pace and seemingly has eyes in the back of his head. How he is able to manipulate the ball to carve out angles in the defense to zip passes through brings innocent on-lookers to their feet regularly. He showcased the ability to make shots with deep range and to get into the paint and make a play. Currently unranked in the 2022 Rivals150, Copeland was very loud and clear with his case to be added in the next go around."

Good recovery but that too-high dribble is what got him in trouble in the first place. His game seems a little reckless to me. The kind of guy that’ll have you cheering one minute, and cussing him out the next.
Yeah, different players but he reminds me of Taliek Brown in that way. He'll learn to pick his speeds and not go 100 mph all the time. (Yeah, I get that these are just clips.)

Yes! That's who I thought of watching that clip. When TB finally put it together we took the whole enchilada, but up to that point he was the most frustrating bipolar PG in UConn history.
