Probably best to drop to FCS and take hoops to the Big East.
Bad doesn't last forever. The team that kicked our arss last night went through some pretty dark times. They didn't quit and neither should UCONN! Temple beat USF and last night we are going with. Rookie QB and a rookie Offensive Coordinator. Any expectations for a W last night were unrealistic.
PJ Walker played as a frosh and look at the product Temple displayed on the field last night. UCONN made a decision to begin the Donovan Williams era last night. I am thrilled with the decision. I could care less about burning the Red shirt and think the Tim Boyle comparison is irrelevant. Especially if UCONN were to lose a talent like DW to a transfer situation, visa vi, Michael Nebrich and Richard Z Lagow.
DW gets a three game start on next season and plenty of reps. I am also looking forward to seeing Diaco's other skill position recruits in action. Players like, WR Quayvon Skanes, RBs, Jakevious Vickers & Nate Hopkins and Wr, Keyion Dixon. Players make it happen. George DeLeone's O. Line looked pretty good last night.
