1. Kansas, UNC, and Indiana have a combined total of 0 (yes 0) ESPN 100 players for class of 2015, and there are only 18 uncommitted top 100 players left for 2015.

2. UCONN already has 2 top 100 players (I also think Jalen is going to be a very special player. I would take him over Briscoe, or even Newman. I think he is way underrated).

3. I would think that many here would already know this but no one recruit, or even one class, can make or break a program like UCONN (tonight does even count as a dent to the program's future). We already have a good class for 2015, and it seems from the many big time recruits who came to First Night UCONN is expecting some great future classes!

A lot people here really need to chill out. We signed one of our best classes ever and we are not done yet. Adams and Enoch can flat out ball. Today is a positive day not a negative one.

If ollie lands stone, look for him to really go after malik newman hard. with briscoe headed to kentucky potenially with blakeny,UK will have(briscoe, blakeny, ullis, and potenially arron harrison all in the backcourt. Malik has made it clear that he desires playing time and to be on a contender. soi think hed cross of kentucky. But if UCONN already has his buddy stone who he has made clear he wants to play with and a scholly open then i think UCONN becomes a major player in his recruitment

They're both very good players - I think Adams is going to be a star - but they do not constitute one of the best UConn classes ever.

relax: UCONN is a gamer

huskies do not play to win popularity poll or class clowns trophy or recruiting pageant like most bankrolled pundit kissin kousins

they simply play to win and win big

It's certainly one of the best classes we've ever had wrapped up this early in the recruiting cycle. I honestly can't remember the last time we had two top-60s sign their LOIs within hours of signing day.

But yeah, if this is the class we end up with when it's all said and done, it won't be - by the numbers - one of our best.

Thanks for clarifying who's the idiot here.
Happens every year- have a sense of humor for G-D's sake- we had a 42 page thread about a kid we will never see again. I stand by my comment - and double down on your post.

This place gets more and more alarmist by the day. It's beyond ridiculous at this point.

I don't understand the defensiveness. We had a bad day and it hurt. Making believe it wasn't a bad day seems as disconnected from reality as the" We're Doomed" crowd. Today was like losing a pretty important game. It doesn't have to define us especially if we can learn something from it. But it is not part of the plan.
The notion that we shouldn't care because we've won championships is like having a successful business and saying don't have to look at your flaws or don't have to keep improving.
If we get Stone, we still have a great year. But I would bet KO is already looking at how to improve this part of his job and not blaming the kids or saying UCONN doesn't want the best talent.

I guess people thought ( myself included) that beating Kentucky for our fourth title, Shabazz's hungry husky speech, Lebrons endorsement and selection of Shabazz and winning two titles in four years was going to equal a recruit jackpot. Plus we lost two recruits for different reasons so that makes matters worse for some. We did get two good kids and maybe one more .
