I was just going to post that.

I actually thought he had a chance at meaningful minutes before Sefolosha made 2 in a row. Before that, he, Martin and Liggins couldn't throw it in the ocean.

I have no idea why OKC doesn't play him or why they haven't even played him a little during the season...you have to be kidding me though, liggins over LAMB! wow...

Liggins actually played pretty well in his limited time over the season, nice defense. Defense is where he earns his minutes.

It's crazy to me that Lamb is getting zero time. OKC can't score the ball at all now, putting in Liggins over Lamb is a joke. I would also give Thabeet some minutes, it's almost comical how bad Kendrick Perkins is.

Liggins can defend, while Lamb is more talented offensively throwing him in there now and having him trying to score when he's got very little tick all season is probably more than he can handle. Houston is one of the better offensive teams in the league while from what I've seen when he has played Lamb is just as bad defensively in the NBA as he was last year for us. I would blame Brooks for not trying to develop him during the season when he ample opportunity to do so with all of the blowouts OKC had. I've never really been impressed by Brooks, last night's 4th quarter was embarrassing on his part.

They must see these guys in practice. Maybe they just aren't performing as well in practice vs. the other guys. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see our guys play, but Houston plays small ball and I'm not sure how useful Thabeet would be...

They scored in the triple digits i think they need to play smarter defense for a team that has the athletes they have. I think lamb probably is better than both liggins and sefolasha, but he's a rookie who has spent most of his time in the d-league and might be a better scorer right now than a defender. Plus, look at it from scott brooks' perspective the best case scenario lamb does well and then brooks looks like (more of)an idiot. I think the only way he plays is if there's foul trouble or an injury

I think Brooks is horrible, he makes no adjustments and didn't develop a bench at all this season, he was just content blowing out teams. Houston is going to win this series.

I am glad OKC has Hash and Jeremy on their team, but I'm actually rooting for Houston now. A great story and I think they'd actually give Memphis a better game than OKC (I think Memphis beats the Clippers)...

I'm pulling for Houston winning without Lin. It's a tall order but I hope they can pull it out.

OKC...needs buckets
It has definitely been a disappointing turn over events over the last several days for fans of NBA-teams-with-UConn-Players-in-the-NBA.
As noted in this thread, it does appear that the Clippers and Thunder have lost the momentum, which would leave only Miami and Chicago as contending teams.

Any teams losing an All NBA PG will lose momentum, as will any team losing a star. Westbrook is an All Star & will be hard to be replaced at this point. I still think OKC moves onto the next round, regardless of how Reggie Jackson & Derek Fisher play.

J.Lamb is just in a rough spot. He's got good size at 6'5", but Sefolosha & Martin are roughly 6'7"... Sefolosha is a premiere defender in the NBA. Martin is one of the better shooters & 6th men in the league. Sefolosha & Liggins (another 6'7") are better defensively, so they get more time. At the end of the day Lamb is still 20, but he's in a log jam behind older players who are simply better than him in the NBA at this point. Time for him to take his lumps, no fault of his own. He did well in the D-League. He wasn't handed a starting job like Dion Waiters in Cleveland.

Lol Chicago? Really? Not San Antonio? The Bulls aren't even a top 4 seed in their conference and going to a game 7 away...

You missed the caveat - teams with UConn guys on them.

Plus, the Bulls is an asterisk. Rip is buried. Ray probably wouldn't be productive anywhere else, and Caron is fading fast.

We need to get Kemba in the playoffs.

So much for the Bulls contending...if you count DRose, they were missing four starters tonight. They gave it a game effort but huge loss tonight and the Nets have to be heavily favored now. The only team worth cheering for in the second round may be the Heat
