Purvis ready to help carry the load

This guy is ready to get it going and show out! No one can replace Bazz but a combination of our guards will come close.

To me Boat/Purvis/Tsam (year 2), equals Bazz/Boat/Tsam (year 1). Adding guards Cassell and Omar could make it better, since both of them also have college bball experience. So I don't think we should have to expect a let down at the guard position especially having an NBA point guard coach. Love Bazz but this team will be more than the Bazz/Boat show!

Bazz seemed to have this innate ability to see the game at a slower pace than others. He was a one man press breaker. Always made the right pass… Took great care of the ball.

That will not be easy to duplicate.

I don't really know much about Purvis but I love what you (and most of the board) are saying & sure hope you're right.

Replacing a Bazz or a Kemba is nearly impossible. Skill wise in the right combination the productivity will be there- it remains to be seen if the chemistry and the BB IQ equals what we had with Bazz on the floor. I would love to be a great team this year- in particular toads the end of the season when we have had time to gel- but I am not expecting anything close to what we saw at the end of the season last year and I hope fans will understand it will take time for us to reach our "A" game.
