During the regular season, they played two overtime games. Both against Northwestern. They won one and lost one.

So if we can get them to OT, our chances are 50/50.

The real question is, what was NW's strategy? I'm sure the coaches have been replaying those tapes. Also helps that we played NW. Nice confidence boost that since we can beat them, we can beat Purdue.

If we keep it out of OT, our odds are much better.
Since the money line seems to suggest UConn has about a 70% chance to win the game, I'd much rather take the 70% chance in regulation than the 50% chance in OT. ;)

You and your math.

Wish we had a guy like this

Honestly, Purdue is probably telling themselves "they've never had to make a play at the end of a game to win it, we just have to keep this close," ignoring that we do, in fact, have guys who have done it.

Here’s a silver lining the favorites South Carolina win the women’s tournament in a game that Caitlyn Clark went off from the beginning of the game. Doomed
