Is the loser out of contention for the big dance? Or assuming the Cornhuskers lose to Iowa does that mean both are still in contention? I mean Nebraska would have another quality loss.

This is not a must win game for either team. Currently both are relatively safe but within throwing distance of the bubble. A win would help, a loss would hurt, but it's not the be all end all.

Yes, Minnesota is still behind both of these teams, with lots of work still to do. Minnesota needs wins.
