The bit at the end with Lobo talking about trying to get shots for the walk-ons was a premonition of what was to come!
But it also was something that I love about both former walk-ons when they got into games - they know the Uconn offense as well as any of the players, and they consistently were passing up opportunities to shoot because they were too early in the shot clock or there was another teammate in a better position to score. It was the essence of Uconn basketball being played by the last two on the bench with the same intensity for playing good basketball as we saw from the starters. The only 'selfish' shot either made, was the last one of the season, and it was the perfect shot even if 'good basketball' dictated simply running out the clock. It was Nykesha's last basket without the controversy (a few grumpy gus comments aside.)
