Never mind. Amihere having the game of her life. two clutch FT's (after missing a few) and a miracle banked 3pt shot ties the score at 68-68. Heading into OT

Wow....Shay Colley hits 1 of 2 free throws for her first point of the game, and it's enough to tie the game 77-77, and they are going to 2nd overtime......

Three players with 4 fouls, and they are major players: Jamie Scott for Canada has 9 pts and 9 rebounds, and for Brazil Dos Santos is their leading scorer with 19 pts and 7 rebounds, and De Souza has 10 pts and 10 boards. They all have 4 fouls each....

edit: Jamie Scott has the 4 fouls for Canada, not Amihere....

So I checked on the game. The lights are out and they're having an awkward dance-off on the court with like 2 min to play. What's happening?!?! This feels like a weird acid trip lol

The United States wins the 2021 Americup with their 74-59 defeat of Puerto Rico. Rhyne Howard led the way with 22 points on 8-20 shooting, with 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Aliyah Boston rebounded from her worst effort of the tournament in the Semifinal with 17 points on 6-11 shooting, and 19 rebounds. Elissa Cunane scored 12 pts on 6-11 shooting with 6 rebounds, and Nazahrah Hillmon-Baker added 8 points on just 2-11 shooting, but also added 12 rebounds....

They had a power outage with 2:09 left in the game, and had to wait for the lights to come back on, LOL. But they eventually resumed the game.....

Offense seemed to stabilize when Owusu went in. Don’t know what was stranger — her not playing until late in Q2 or her playing every minute after — but congrats to Dawn, her staff and the team.

I know Howard showed out during the Championship game, but I really thought Boston deserved the MVP. She just seemed the most consistent both offensively and defensively. She also seemed very 'active' generally and looked to be directing/communicating a lot too. I was very impressed.
