Even though Utah is on a six game winning streak, this seems like it could be a good matchup.

It’s on free live video stream.

Egads, the Utes caught the can't shoot disease Washington had the other day. 25% from the floor and 8% behind the arc in the first half.

Oh oh... Utah’s on a 4-0 run coming out of the half.

All tied up now late in the third quarter. Looks like PRV is in trouble, since they can’t seem to stop the bleeding.

When I first checked the score of this game, it was 41-19 Providence late in 2Q.

Apparently Utah then went on a 24-2 run and actually tied the game in 3Q. I believe Mary Baskerville (Providence's best player) was on the bench with foul trouble for most of that run. The Friars managed to stop the bleeding but are barely clinging to a 1-point lead right now.

My live stream has gone completely haywire. But I gather that Providence hit a couple of 3s to retake the lead, now up by 5 with under 5:00 to play. Baskerville on the bench with 4 fouls now.

Well, PRV has weathered the storm. Utah’s going down, and I’m yelling TIMBER!

Providence moves to 8-1 with the win. They haven't slain any Goliaths, but this is still a surprising start for them. Their only loss was that weird game vs. Yale that was suspended when they led at halftime and then resumed a month later, where saw their lead turn to mush.

As for Utah, well, the season is already a disappointment. They'll likely finish 7-4 in the OOC with a win over dreadful Weber State, but there's almost no way they'll finish .500+ overall because I don't see them getting 8 wins in the Pac-12, especially with an unbalanced schedule does not favor them (they play the Washington schools only once each, and they play the Oregons and Stanford twice each).

Shouldn't she be playing for a team with a hound as a mascot, like Tennessee?
