Hi all,

Bill Koch of the Providence Journal joins me to preview Wednesday's UConn vs. Providence game. We talk about takeaways from the first match up, covering Dan Hurley in Rhode Island and what he learned about him, the Big East down the home stretch, and more.

Great job with Bill.. Seems like he has a healthy respect for DH and UConn.. Not sure he's as concerned about us on Wed as he should be..LOL

A worry that UConn might play Clingan and Sanogo together in a zone with Croswell and Hopkins overmatched on the blocks. Relax Bill. No need to worry. Hurley only seeks to match up with opponents. It would be shocking, and a positive development, if he sought to dictate a mismatch for the opponent, in this case with 2 bigs. We caused havoc vs Xavier with a full court second half press. No need to ever come back to that. We were successful with some zone, therefore, we try to avoid using it often. Lets go man to man exclusively, 1 Big, 80% Sanogo, cross fingers Karaban can guard Hopkins, put no shooters on the court with Clingan, and pull Clingan away from the basket. That is how we will roll, again. Oh, and if our shooters are off, don't forget to keep Joey on the bench lest he starts hitting again. His 'coldness' is overrated IMO since he is 2-4 from 3 in Feb. He had 2 games 0-4 in Jan which crush the stats. Other games have been ok.

At least I feel better after Boneyard therapy.

Team's 20-7 and a lock for a high seed. In case you didn't realize that.

We're in 5th place in the Big East we were focused on winning by carrying the trophy pic to every game. So nothing should be tweaked or reevaluated? All 7 losses to Big East teams. Let Creighton avoid guarding Jackson, let Providence have the matchup they want for Hopkins, keep Clingan and Joey on the bench, never investigate what Samson might be able to do. We were 14-0 with Clingan and Joey getting more minutes. 20-7 is fine. This team can do better.

I didn't say that. Calm down. Relax. Its a good league.

Also: Joey has been exposed. He could be a valuable piece in the NCAAs, but in this league he has been completely shut down.

We played double bigs against Providence last time, because it IS a good matchup for it.

I don't want to interrupt your hissy fit, but Hurley has already shown that Providence is a matchup where he'll play Sanogo and Clingan together. He did it in the first matchup

Joey is shooting 20% from the field since the first Georgetown game in late December. 20%!
