1. UCLA
2. Texas
3. UConn
4. Notre Dame
5. Louisville
6. Duke
7. Virginia
8. Maryland
9. Minnesota
10. Kansas

Looks like the top 4 are all fairly close and there's a fairly large drop-off to number 5. Of course these ranking will be much more significant sometime in November once LOI are signed and delivered.

Just noticed something odd. Under Ariel Atkins picture, the caption reads "With updated prospect rankings, Texas moves to No. 1 in the 2014 class rankings." But then they list Texas as 2nd, which honestly, is at least 1 (and probably 2) ranks too high. Considering the Longhorns include an unranked player in their class, shouldn't UConn (at least) be ranked higher?

Great gets for UCLA - rightfully deserving of the top spot so far. I find it curious that this site has Edwards so much higher than any other site and Ekmark and Williams quite a bit lower than the other sites. Either way no surprise seeing ND, L'ville, Duke and Maryland up int he top 10 as well.

Having an unranked player should neither hurt your ranking, nor especially help it if you are near the top.

I think that ND will land former Baylor commit, Calvert. I think she will follow Turner. I think that ND will have the top rated class when all is said and done, unless UCONN lands Wilson.

What is the latest that a player has committed to UCONN? Who was the last player that UCONN signed who had not verballed going into her senior year?

.-.
Texas also has the number 4 and 24 ranked players in 2015 and there are several players from Texas still unsigned for this class. I wouldn't be surprised if UT lands a couple more from 2015.

Texas is luring some good HS talent. Hope Karen Aston can pull it together at Texas!

Didn't have to go far. Chong gave UConn her verbal last October I believe, while on her official visit.

Ann Strother was pretty late, possibly the last possible day?

BTW, Ann Strother is now a fashion model!

Hopefully Duke will move up on the list... 2014 needs to be a special class for us to keep up with the Joneses

What? You already have Alexis. Do you want Jonquel too? And Sam and K.C.?

Given the monopoly that UConn has on the Brianna/Breanna/Bria front (not to mention your complete dominance on Saniyas), I see no reason why Duke cannot attempt to corner the market on Joneses. But I think Duke, UConn and Tennessee have the most decorated classes playing WCBB this season (most highly ranked recruits from 2010 class through 2013 class).

Diana Taurasi verballed rather later in the fall too.

IMHO 2014 is not a critical recruiting year for Duke Sure Duke graduates 5 players, but counting the Red Shirt Freshmen there are 6 freshmen on next season's roster. Could use a guard and a wing for added depth and playing time for future years.

My kingdom for a guard and a wing.... I'd even be willing to give up burgers, cake, and donuts for a month if it meant Duke could sign a guard and a wing for 2014.

A wing? You already have Becca Greenwell in the 2013 class, you greedy little bugger! Becca should be fine by the time Liston graduates and certainly before a 2014 recruit suits up for her first game!

Burgers, cake and donuts. But would you give up Cheerwine for a month for a wing?

I don't understand why you would want Sierra when you already HAD a Sierra and didn't want Moore.

Lets compare notes in 4 years on all these players.......You need to coach them and develop a team chemistry......Ask Tenn?

Wilhemina lists Ann as 6'.
6' is a good height for a model. 6'2", eh not so much. For a hoopster though, just the opposite. Women are measured how ever needed. ;)

That was my expectation.

Maybe I'm a little off but I was confused that this site had Sadie Edwards ranked #8 while Gabbie Williams was ranked #17 when other sites had Gabbie Williams ranked much much higher and Sadie Williams ranked quite a bit lower. Could this be due to Gabbie Williams injury? I'm a little surprised, to say the least. I've heard good things about Sadie Edwards but to find her at #8 when most services seem to have her somewhere near #30 was stunning. What's up????
