Yup - I thought it was a really good news conference. No 'we didn't ....' or 'they (players) didn't ...' but rather, 'I didn't do a good enough job preparing them for ...' and 'Uconn did a good job of ...'
Only quible I had was his stressing the 'physicality' and only because I thought both teams gave as good as they got.

I was impressed. They should be favorites to win the SEC next year, and a possible FF team if they don't run into Baylor/UCONN next year.

DeNesha Stallworth (transfer from CAL) is very good. She and Samarie should give them size, and a very good front court. I really loved Goss game as well, she should improve. And, I think Jennifer O'neil (McD AA/former Hartley's team mate) should be back (she redshirted). Mathias returns too, but was a no show tonight.

Coach Mitchell has certainly had better days on the bench. Elite 8 is a commendable achievement. Hopefully, he will not beat himself up too badly over Mathies only getting 12 shots, and Kelly Faris' buzzer beating layup.

Coach Mitchell and his Kentucky team are class acts. I am looking forward in seeing them take over the SEC......Tennessee who??

They could have won the game, they are really good. Not sure if playing so many palyers hurt or helped other than they could foul at will. A senior saved our toukas in this game, Miss. Hayes if your nasty :). Great experience for KML and Stokes.

Kentucky is another example of a well coached team that overachieved without a superstar. I think we're looking at the SEC leader for the future.
