As I started my annual chart of P5 schedules -

I discovered that Arizona is scheduled to play Pacific University.

Except they aren't.

Arizona will play "Pacific", or if you want to be formal, "University of the Pacific", a West Coast Conference Team from Stockton, California.

Pacific University is a DIII school in Oregon.

As I say in my title - proofreader anywhere?

Proof readers, like "secretaries", disappeared from businesses as word processing came into vogue. With the emphasis of business being the next quarterly profit statement, CFO's saw clerical staff as an unneeded expense. I am constantly amazed at the number of spelling errors in articles published in major periodicals. That's something that was unheard of when I was young.
