I'm really unsure of how well Kentucky will play this year under Mark Pope.

Like, the program has depth, but it's lacking juice.

‘24 freshman: #35 Chandler, #72 Perry, 1#08 Noah
‘24 transfers
  • Andrew Carr 6’10 220 GR from Wake Forest, 13.5p, 7r, 1.5b, 37 3P%, 79 FT%
  • Kerr Kriisa 6’3 185 GR from West Virginia, 11p, 3r, 5a, 42 3P%, 77 FT%
  • Jaxson Robinson 6’7 190 GR from BYU, 15p, 35 3P%, 27 mpg
  • Otega Oweh 6’5 215 JR from Oklahoma, 11p, 4r, 1.5s, 38 3P%, 3.5 FTA, 64 FT%
  • Lamont Butler 6’2 205 GR from San DIego State, 9p, 3r, 3a, 1.5s, 30 3P%, 2.5 FTA, 60 FT%
    Amari Williams 6’10 265 GR from Drexel, 12p, 8r, 2a, 1.8b, 52 FG%
  • Brandon Garrison 6’9 205 SO from OK State, former #45 , 7.5p, 5r, 1.5a, 57 FG%, 1.5b, 22.6 mpg
  • Koby Brea 6’6 206 GR from Dayton, 11p, 50 3P%, 88 FT%
  • Ansley Almonor 6’7 219 SR from FDU, 16.4p, 5r, 2a, 39 3P%
They'll be a tournament team, but are they even in the top-20? I don't think so.

That's because of Calipari, maybe one of the worst X and O coaches ever at a high level D1. Game management, sub patterns, awful.

But UK still moves the needle, it will always be bigger than one coach.

It was buried in this thread.

But there are never enough posts to make fun of Kentucky. :)

i'd say top 25. they are two deep at every position but it's quantity over quality for the most part:

Kriisa / Perry
Butler / Brea
Robinson / Oweh
Carr / Almonor
Williams / Garrison
