For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate with your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion. Due to the quick turnaround between games I have posted this prior to the posting of the winners of the Xavier game.
It’s Senior Night at Gampel with Georgetown coming in to be the Huskies next Big East meal. It is yet to be known who will be participating in the festivities except maybe the Seniors that are the non-players part of team. Senior Night at Gempel has been sold out since late January so at least it will be loud. The Hoyas are 16-9, 6-8 in Big East play and lost to UConn at home 55-83. Their BE wins at home are Xavier 77-49, DePaul 44-42 and Providence, while their road wins are DePaul 66-62, Butler 60-55 and Providence. Their losses at home are against Seton Hall 49-57, UConn, Creighton 72-77 and Villanova 47-62, while their road losses are Villanova 51-53, St. John’s 56-57, Seton Hall 54-71 and Marquette 38-52. The Hoyas Massey SoS is #85, average in Conference play 56.9 points a game, 35.7 rebounds, 13.1 assists, 5.2 steals, 3.7 blocks, 16.2 turnovers, 39.8 FG%, 68 FT%, and have a 30.8 3pt%. Their best win was against DePaul and worst loss was against Brown. Offensively they are ranked 230th while defensively they are ranked 31st vs UConn being ranked 4th in offense and 5th in defense.

- All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 6:45 P.M. Eastern on game day, any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.
- The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Georgetown/Hoyas. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
- If prior to closing, you wish to change your prediction you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions, you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- I see UConn having little problems with the Hoyas, but at the end they will wear them down and walk away with a conference win. UConn 92 - Georgetown 53.
