For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to.
UConn is back on the road again going to the frozen tundra of Milwaukee, Wisconsin to play their 2nd game against Marquette in the Al McGuire Center. The Huskies crushed the Golden Eagles on New Years Eve at the XL Center 95-64. UConn wants to get revenge for their 59-52 loss last year at Marquette, that loss ended the nearly 30 year record of no back to back game losses. Since the win against Golden Eagles, UConn has won every game by double digits while Marquette has lost to St John’s 57-56 and Villanova 66-63, both were road games. While they have won at Seton Hall 75-54 and at home against Xavier 81-52 and DePaul 78-47. Marquette is 4-3 in Conference play and 15-3 overall. Marquette’s SoS by Massey is 56th and rated 30th. They average in Conference play 70.4 points a game while allowing 63 points, 35 rebounds, 17.8 assists, 5.5 steals, 4 blocks, 14.57 turnovers, 50.58 FG%, 75.7 FT%, 39.1 3pt% and commit 15.1 fouls. - All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 6:45 P.M. Eastern on game day, any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.
- The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or Marquette/Golden Eagles. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.
- If prior to the closing of the Prognosticator’s Predictions you wish to change your prognostication you must submit a new prediction by stating that you wish to change your previous prediction and provide the post number of the original post. If the request for change is submitted prior to the closing of accepted predictions you will receive a "like" letting you know that it was accepted and changed.
- If someone believes that they have been missed, or someone notices that another fellow Prognosticator has been missed by the gamekeeper, then it must be brought to the gamekeeper's attention within 24 hours of the posting of the winner(s) game thread.
- I don’t see UConn having any problems with the Red Storm, they will wear them down by the end of the 3rd qtr and get another conference win. UConn 90 – Marquette 62.
