For those that are new to the game and others that have forgotten it is requested that discussions other than prognostications of the game should be posted on other threads that your discussion pertains to. If you wish to prognosticate your prediction that is okay if you post your score. The winner/s will be posted soon after the game’s completion.
UConn plays against formal conference rival USF who is coached by Jose Ferandez who has compiled a 462-306 record going into his 25th year as their HC. Geno and the Huskies have been their nemesis to his program, compiling a record of 33-0 over those past 24 years. USF’s worst loss was at the XL Center on 1/10/17, when the fab four of KLS, Pheesa, Gabby and Kia, plus the rest of the team put on a show winning 102-37. Their closest game against UConn was in the inaugural Atlantis Tournament at Paradise Islands, Bahamas 60-53, the only game that USF lost by less than double digits.
USF is currently 2-0 with wins over Bethune 87-44 and Mt St Marys 68-51, both wins were on USF’s home court. If UConn plays against USF like they did in the first half of the Boston game, it’s going to be a blowout like they did on 1/10/17. I believe that Geno will play his starters a little longer so they can get better prepared for their next game against North Carolina in Greensboro on 11/15.
This game will be the first regular season game at Gampel Pavilion and their second of the season. UConn should have enough firepower to get by the Bulls if they are not looking past them with North Carolina coming up.
All predictions and any changes must be submitted by 4:15 PM Eastern. Any submitted after the cut-off will not be accepted.
The winner must be named, either UConn/Huskies or USF/Bulls. No predictions like "85-55 the good guys", will be accepted if there isn't a winner stated.

- This game won’t be close, I believe that UConn will play all available players, and everyone will score. UConn 95 – USF 50.
