I think I've found the secret sauce to becoming an expert prognosticator. Wait until the top five make their prognostications and average them out. Sure winner. But I'm sure one of our mathematicians will tell me an "average" is inaccurate and to use the arithmetic mean or mode or median or some other statistical concept. Will this result in a discussion of mathematical probability? Yikes. Forgetabouit.

Sometimes, the top 5 will get smart enough to post within 2 or 3 minutes of post time, leaving little time for your analysis.

I've thought about the standard deviation...naa, that doesn't work either.

When we predict the score, we have to take in consideration that Azzi and Sarah have yet to play in the fourth quarter in any of our BE games. Obviously, that is a factor. It is a big deal for bettors, and we have not covered the spread a few times because of the lack of fire power in the fourth.

Living in Vegas I occasionally bet on the Huskies. Last year after their loss to Tennessee they were 30 to 1 odds to win the NC. I was a little lucky on the slots and decided to put $200 on them just for the fun of it. I guess that day was my lucky day in more ways than one. Right now is not a good time to bet on them except maybe the point spread or the over and under.
