The team is staying in Indy tonight and taking a two hour bus ride tomorrow morning to Cincy. The starting five played less than 35 minutes each and the 3 available bench players had at least 9 minutes of game time so the players should be okay for the game against the last place team in Big East standings Xavier at 0-5. UConn just beat Butler by 33 points without Caroline and Azzi, a team that beat Xavier at the Cintas Center 79 - 65. Then there's CD's superb job as interim coach with Geno not feeling well. Maybe Geno should travel by limo so the ladies don't catch what he has. I don't see UConn having any challenges against Xavier with only 3 players 6-1 or taller, the tallest is 6-6 and plays about 6 minutes a game averaging less than 2 points. As long as the 8 available players stay healthy this should be at least another 30 point win. UConn 85 - Xavier 45.

Assuming CD is again the game coach, Inês Ayanna and Amari will get more minutes, which will mean we don’t break 90pts. Butler beat them by 14 largely on the strength of 3pt shooting, which we also experienced today. I expect we’ll shoot better from 3 and will also dominate the paint.
