Can he shoot from the perimeter? Just noticed 2 for 7 from 3 in five games. I know he's ultra athletic and can probably get to the hole anytime he wants, but does he have a deep game?

I think he does have a developing deep game. All our guards present, and future should be shooting thousands of outside shots midrange and 3's.

I haven't been able to make any events this year, priorities change, but had heard he isn't playing well and they are highlighting some other kids who are playing well and don't/didn't have many high major offers.

I wouldn't worry about it much. He had a fantastic high school year. Some kids just don't do well during AAU season.

Ali on the other hand is showing ranking him outside the top 50 is silly, and I think he has an argument for a top 5 spot at his position. I would say higher but it's a strong year for SGs. Newman, Trier probably are higher bc of their outside game. Blakeney (sp) is pretty similar to Ali but I'm biased and would put Ali higher. Richardson is also very good but maybe a SF. Actually Newman is more of a combo, same with Briscoe.

Perimeter, forget that. We have transitioned to an expert free throw team, and he's missing about 2 free throws per game. That's unacceptable, who recruited this kid?

Yeah turtle has been struggling as of late. But the whole Stars team has been trying to get on the same page. Hopefully he'll get into the grove of things but is tough to say.

I don't know about anyone else, but, I'm a bit concerned about Turtle's so-so (at best) performance in these competetions.
Is he injured? If not, I have to worry why an early commit to a 4 time NC is playing so poorly.
I have to think Ollie is a bit miffed too. Anyone know the reason?

It's disorganized AAU basketball. Nothing really translates to actual college basketball anyway. Calm down.
