Hopefully the students decide to attend games this year. The class of 2018 was a disgrace. I hope 2019s,2020s,2021s, and 2022s + grad students show their support better than 2018 class. Nothing grinds my gears like an empty student section.

I am a diehard fan, been to 3 Final Fours, and I had to force myself to go to games. It’s been an awful 4 years for the class of 2018. Games were boring and the team was lifeless. I’d expect that to change with the Hurley era.

I think a lot of people on this board historically defended the lousy student turn out by blaming the conference. I blame a poor product out on the floor. If this team is winning consistently and is in the top 25 fans will be there. It has very little to do with the conference (although we all no a good out of conference game will put fans in the seats no matter how bad the team is). People don't want to pay to watch their team lose to mediocre teams. I think Hurley seems to be creating the buzz that the program used to have year in and year out. Time will tell but I know for the first time in years I'm actually considering buying season tickets because I'm excited about the future of the program.

We were so bad, and even worse, the team didn't appear to care much. I'm sorry, but no student is under an obligation to watch something like that.

The students are currently subsidizing the athletic department $8mil+ directly and more from a cut of their tuition. Then to have to buy tickets and get a ride to and from XL to watch the the team has put out the last few years? The students are so, so, so far down the list of those harming this team/athletic department

UConn went 17-14 in 2007 and people attended games. Correct me if i'm wrong but in 2007 students still had buy tickets and get back and forth from the XL to Storrs.

Have been to all 5 final fours. last season, for the first time ever, since 1981 my rookie year, I was leaving games early. Even talked about cutting back on my contribution. Then we changed coaches. Also, this years renewal form asked for a 15% increase. Yes, I ponied up. Lets Go Huskies !
