In all the talk about the upcoming games, especially that three of the participants are first-timers, it's important to emphasize that the Syracuse coach is the first African-American man to coach a woman's team to this level. While some of us are unhappy with Q for not accommodating Bre's desire to play in her hometown during her farewell tour (or the color of their unis), we shouldn't lose sight of the accomplishment of the coach and his success with this group of Orange women. It's another step forward for minorities and of their contributions to the game and the country. There is a bigger picture.
