Confidence was key in Ice's performance in both tournaments last year and she sounds so much more confident in this interview. Hoping for a breakout season for her.

I think against SC a line-up of Sarah, Ice, Jana, Paige and Azzi could be pretty lethal at certain times. Good rebounders and defenders with the shooting of our seniors could be very special. I know it won't happen now, but down the road it may be needed.

I thought Geno was obviously open to a three big lineup suggesting that Sarah, Ice and Jana could probably do that now, except that we don't have the backups to make that work when those players are spread over three positions. This year we probably don't see it much, but next year we might.

It was also interesting that Ice defined her role with those two pretty precisely. When teamed with Sarah she is the 5, when she is with Jana she is the 4. We still hope Ayanna will be a factor among the bigs, but next year if Geno is already thinking about using a big lineup with those three, he adds Gandy, and hopefully Lara, perhaps changing the big lineup from possible to probable.

I would say earlier than next year. I'd say March... in the interview, I distinctly heard this conversation and he also was talking about Patterson, Aubrey, and Cheli at about the same time. I found it interesting that he talked about Cheli in the 3/4 point forward realm too.

I see so many dreaming about a big 3 lineup while I'm thinking that we finally have some depth for more fouls/game and more rest for taking that punishment.
