I'm always a bit skeptical when a writer has a lead sentence end with an exclamation mark!

More to the point of the lists, I've got to wonder how Ms. Howard is still listed at Texas A&M (versus Miss. State) and that Brianna Turner and Marina Mabrey are nowhere in sight on the senior list. (And the senior list is the longest of the bunch.)

I’m surprised KLS is so far down on the list. I’d definitely put her before Sophie. Also surprised that Sedona Prince isn’t on the freshman list. Nor any of the Baylor girls.

SP is out for the year with an injury perhaps they took that into account

KLS and Collier are easily in the top 5 players the class, maybe top 3. The 7 seniors listed are probably the best even though the order would look different if I were picking the team. The junior class order looks about right. Freshman rankings are laughable given how there is literally no way to know how they will perform.

This list is complete junk!

"Junk" is kind. I was at the Oregon State game yesterday. When this list is rewritten at the end of the season, Destiny Slocum will be near the top of the sophomore list--for sure. I got to sit court side yesterday, and lets just say Oregon State has never had a player at the point like Destiny. All I can say is WOW! As an OSU fan, this is going to be a very enjoyable year. Rueck has so much depth on this team, and on offense, OSU can play very uptempo, or, can play a half court game. But OSU is going to run, as OSU has never had the speed and experience that we have now.

Kennedy Burke from UCLA ahead of Alanna Smith of Stanford and Maite Cazorla from Oregon from the Sr. class? I don't think so.

Amber Melgoza from UW and Borislava Hristova from Washington St. not among the top 27 Jr? They may play for bad teams but both are fantastic.

To echo Lotrader, not only is Slocum missing from the soph list, but Pivec at #13 for the Jr is the only Oregon St. player listed. Yet somehow they are consensus top 10 to start the season? McWilliams should be somewhere on the Sr. list and Tudor could be included among the Jr. One of Goodman or Corosdale is probably worthy of being mentioned for the soph class as well.

This list has several players listed for the wrong team--Chloe Jackson transferred from LSU and Carmen Grande transferred from Ball St. Those are 2 that jumped out at me immediately, there are probably more. I know it's just a list some random person put together but it doesn't appear to be very carefully researched.

These lists are going to look really silly at the end of the season when the Awards are announced... i.e., NPOY, Meyers--Drysdale, McClain, and Lieberman. ;)

While I agree that all of these players will go early in the first round of the WNBA draft in April, I seriously doubt Durr will be the first.

I'm familiar with the author's twitter, so I know she is a passionate wbb fan. I respect anyone who makes the effort to put something like this out for public consumption and create content for us all to quibble with.

That said - these lists are bad. Collier and KLS at 6 and 7 is an extreme(ly bad) take. I like Sophie Cunningham as much as the next guy but...come on.

Forgetting a two-time All-American who will be starting for the reigning national champions is a fairly large oversight.

I mean, I don't watch a wide enough variety of teams to even attempt such a list, so good for her for taking a shot at it, but...yeah, highly flawed.
