Kyle Wiltjer (gonzaga)
Kris Dunn (providence)
Georges Niang (iowa state)
Buddy Hield (oklahoma)
Ben Simmons (LSU)

Just saw this on TOS, and only read out of mild curiosity since pre-season AA lists are meaningless. However, the guy who wrote the article (kyle ringo) went out of his way to make a certain point that brings up one of our pet peeves (to put it lightly) on this site. He mentions how there are no representatives from any blue bloods on the first team, and then goes on to add some extra "facts":

"The last time the postseason AP All-America team didn't include at least one player from blue blood schools was the 2003-04 season when Josh Childress from Stanford, Ryan Gomes from Providence, Jameer Nelson from Saint Joseph's, Emeka Okafor from UConn and Lawrence Roberts from Mississippi State were honored.

UConn is certainly about as close as it gets to a blue blood program but isn't technically considered one and certainly wasn't at the time that 2003-04 team was selected."

Let the angry rants begin!

edit: i guess he gets a little pass from his last comment how we weren't blue bloods in 04, which is true...

I'm not going to criticize this other than saying the word "technically" is just horsepucky nonsense. There is no official or technical or specific blueblood designation.

Look at that list of schools. No Kentucky, no Duke, no Kansas, no UNC and 4 upperclassmen. Love it.
