I think he needs to start grading himself as a coach the way he grades each player per play.................

Maybe grade his eyes as well

Actually in a perverse way this makes sense. He has a choice to throw one of two people under the bus - Chandler Whitmer or George DeLeone. Guess who wins?.

EDIT: O my god. I knew it was bad. Didn't realize they had FIVE sacks and god knows how many hurries.

Hey Horde, ask Manuel if HE thought the pass protection was OK. His silence on this means he thinks we're as stupid as PP apparently thinks we are.

Almost at the point where there should be an organized boycott of the next game in the parking lot if PP is still the coach. There is so much real money at stake here, including those of us who (stupidly) have season tickets.

From John Silver

“We had trouble with a young player in (Hemingway) on (Delaire), who is a good pass rusher and a good inside pass rusher and had a good inside move,” Pasqualoni said. “If i had to do it over again i would helped (Hemingway) more in the protection.”

How about an in game adjustment you foc ing buffoon.

Holy hell. You mean you think you should have helped a very young and inexperienced OL with pass protection more? Comments like this make me realize just how far out of touch PP is.

Well, at least two of those sacks, whitmer hung on to the ball too long. But yeah insuniating the pass protection was good is over the top. They sucked with Hemingway having a particularly rough night.

Wait, you can't expect a guy who makes $1.6 million a year to make decisions on the fly, can you?

Again, someone from Horde should read all these quotes to Warde and get his opinion.

You did not include Fuller's follow up question and PP's reply which was "Oh, you meant our game, well that's a horse of a different color. Great movie, eh?"

Yes, the pass protection was pretty good, and this was just a flesh wound:

Both their lines looked pretty small stacked up against ours and they till completely owned us from scrimmage. It was sad.

Can you explain what this "in-game adjustment" you speak of is? I cheer for Uconn you see, and am unfamiliar with the term.

This in-game adjustment for this particular situation would of been to help the RT who he called by name so will I(Hemmingway) out with the DE who was destroying him all night long. With either a double team from A. AN TE, B. The 300 pd. guard next to him, C. a chip from our best blocker rb Lyle McCombs, or D. A Fullack, or E. rollout the other direction not towards the RT, who I mentioned above Hemmingway, you catch my drift? Anybody who cheers for Uconn would see that by the way.

I am so disgusted hearing this moron speak. 0-12, here we come! Both of our lines were completely dominated by much smaller, much less talented (?) linemen.

You do a good job of providing examples of any one of a litany of adjustments PP should have made during the game. It was clear to anyone watching that Hemingway struggled (to put it kindly) against the defensive end.

However, you appear to have missed the point of the post. I didn't ask what adjustment(s) needed to be made, but for a definition of what an in-game adjustment is.

That post sarcastically suggested that coaches making in-game adjustments is so rare that those of us who watch Uconn might not even know what it is anymore.

Now I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or just pushing my buttons. Turn the words around put the word (during) instead of in, and maybe you can figure it out for yourself of what an in-game adjustment is. If not google the term. If this is all just clowning around, I'm not in the mood after this debacle of a head coach, so excuse my harshness. Maybe I need to go on a bye. Sorry for doing football talk about a football question. If you want a political correctness on the above question consult the businesslawyer.

I confess. The post was purely sarcastic. Don't expect to throw a statement like "anyone who cheers for Uconn would see that by the way" as if I am some sort of less than fan or ignorant and not expect a sarcastic response. Condescension begets condescension, especially when you misinterpret the post to begin with. For what it is worth, your schematic examples of in-game changes applicable in this situation all are good ones that yes, any Uconn fan (this one included) could and did see.

Since you are as aggravated with the liquid garbage the program is devolving into as I am, I get the harshness, and am not trying to push your buttons here. You pointed out five ways that the coaches could have altered the game plan for the second half and address the RT's inability to handle the DE. None of them, of course, ducking occurred to PP and friends. That was the point. When was the last time they made a halftime adjustment to counteract an opponent's successful scheme? It is practically a foreign concept in East Hartford. That is the point what I was driving at.

No worries, I figured I would read it again after the venom wore off, it's sickening what's happening at Uconn. I'm frustrated and took it out on you, and realized it was most likely sarcasm but it wasn't to me coming off that way, especially after watching the game. I started apologizing then and will do so now. Have a good weekend

THe common denominator to everythign wrong with this team is communication, as far as I see it. Players and coaches don't seem to be able to communicate what's happening. WHen a player is beaten so clearly, badly, individually - on a football field, the only reason that something doesn't change, is that nobody communicated the need, desire, or want to make the change - OR - the change desired was communicated, and ignored.

I simply, am completely dumbfounded that this is case, at this point in time, for this program. Paul Pasqualoni was once a very successful head football coach at the highest levels of college football competition, and he's got the record to prove it. He's also on the fast track straight into a wall, proving that it's gone.

I personally cannot believe that Deleone still has a job, if the kid was left on an island to be abused like that, and destroy the offense, and nothing was done, and if Deleone was just following orders, then you move up to the next in the chain, as to who's head should be on the platter.

I'm telling y'all, I'm going to be in head hunting mood with my limited powers of penmanship and community organization in coming weeks, based on actions I see. I really don't anticipate any action away from the field now, because I can't imagine why you'd fire somebody now, and not have done it two days ago. So the next opportunity to see anything in action, is to actually see the team perform on the 14th.

Dumbfounded is the look i see on PP's face every gameday. I agree with communication, but are these kids actually getting it? Do they know what to do and or just not executing it? Seems to me they have no clue, for the 3rd year now. I'm not sure if there teaching it right either, but I can't fathom them teaching it like what we see on Saturdays. It's mind boggling.

Another thing is PP throwing kids under the bus. I don't get that either, how bout holding himself accountable. I read a statement that he was discussing how the Rt kid was getting destroyed and that yeah he "probably" should of had somebody help him out. "Probably" after the game don't count, and if you can see it during the game, why wasn't anything done? Why would they leave the kid on a island, i think he was starting his first game as well. How is that putting the kid in a position to win, thrive, execute. It's like you either sink or swim dude, last time I checked this a team sport, have to win as a team. Not helping out your teammate or in this case, your player out then you don't win the game. Hence the mediocrity, where's the communication, where's the help? WTF is going on during gameday/halftime. Hey let them figure it out don't cut it. Tired of this . Good call on winning on your homefield. Definitely creates some buzz. Time for a bye week, I'm getting my debbie stick and going to beat myself with it until game day approaches. How fitting HCRE comes back next week, let the foaming of the mouth begin....

We may be paying him $1.6 million, but he is costing us much much more.

I haven't counted, but I'm willing to bet our offense hasn't scored 15 second half TDs under Coach P in 25 games. I may be off a bit, but how is that possible?

The REALLY embarrassing part was that Towson often rushed only three guys.
