I listened to this yesterday...Jimmy was right on the mark about what P said. P also talked about and pumped up the AAC. Childers talked to him about new uni's/helmets before they got into it about the team. He told P he LOVED them and asked P if he had any input on the design (P said he did). Childers also told P that although he knows they aren't too popular with the fan base that they have gained a LOT of positive buzz among the sports writer/broadcaster world and that recruits are really talking about them. After P got off the air, Childers basically said that he knows e fan base is restless but tha he thinks we are VERY close...and that the next time wwe make it to a national stage like the Fiesta Bowl we will be making a statement. I find Childers very abrupt sometimes..to the point of being arrogant. I kept waiting for him to drop the hammer after P got off the air..but he didn't. He actually thinks we are close...which I found VERY interesting!

I caught the end of it and his remarks after P left. He said if we can be competent on offense we can win the AAC. Also said P is very enthusiastic and with that defense he should be.
