West Virginia getting a runout with just over 4 minutes left (up 9 I believe) and Jones passing up what looked like an uncontested putback under the hoop, in favor of killing some clock. The ball then goes out to Bryant who shoots a 3 a few seconds later. Then Kilicic fouls out chasing the rebound.

I know a lot happened afterwards, but this was where it all started. If WVU either takes the layin, kills some clock, or makes the 3 the game would have effectively been over. You have to love how UConn took advantage of that poor sequence and rallied.

One slight correction - Bazz took advantage. It can't be expressed how huge he was from about 9 minutes to go through the first few minutes of OT.

Truck Bryant has always been one of those guys who seems to play for both teams. Scoop Jardine was in the same category prior to this year - I actually think he's really improved in the poise department.

Yup, that was a pivotal moment. One could say that was the moment the truck backed up to UConn's doorstep and delivered that inevitable comeback. Ehh, that was the best I could do.

the missed WV free throw on 1 and 1 was huge IMO. That's when I knew we had it

Another huge point was when Baz got called for the ridiculous blocking foul and got up to go after the ref. Boat grabbed him and calmed him down. If Baz had gotten to the ref, he probably would have been tossed and we'd have been toast. Even though Boat didn't play great yesterday, he probably saved the season with that action.

Jardine benefits immensely from being able to only play 25 minutes a game. Limited exposure means limited chances to f-up. They are able to hide a lot of their individual issues by being very, very deep.

He, as a 5th year senior, has more TO's per minute than either Boat or Napier and god knows people blast the sophomore Napier for his TO's. Jardine does have a higher A/TO ratio though.

Triche, Waiters and MCW are all good about not turning it over.
