BUT, maybe, just maybe, a QB of this caliber should seriously be considered if he decides to leave Clemson... and we should put on a full court press to get this young man on campus... While I think you are right, what makes this one different is that some yocals say Taisun really had UConn high on his list...with a legit interest in staying home.

Now with Tyler coming here I'm not sure he would want to be competition to his brother, but maybe that wouldn't matter to him.

After a taste of P5, he probably stays in that world.

It looks like Clemson is bringing in 1 QB next year and he looks to be a depth type of QB. They are targeting a stud QB in 2022. So, I think Phommachanh will be the #2 next year. And, this season doesn’t count towards a year of eligibility, so he has more time to make a transfer decision.

Clemson gets a stud QB every year just about. We get once in awhile guys that will probably never have the type of immediate impact their QBs have... UNLESS... we change this trend.... which we need to... probably need to bring in a few P5 level OL as well (via transfer portal... there are guys stuck behind other guys at that important spot too)...
