Portland Preparation/Ice’s foot [merged thread]

Just thought this was interesting, had there been any discussion on this because if so I haven’t seen it?

Sometimes players wear boots as a precautionary measure, especially if they're trying to save their ankles at this point in the season.

Understood that precaution is warranted -- if needed to prevent further injury. But that in itself begs the question: Was there an initial injury that occurred that the boot is to prevent furthering? If so, what is the extent of the injury? We all hope it's nothing but the training staff just acting out of an overabundance of caution. Maybe we'll know more by tomorrow.

That a boot or a tricked out sandal? Although it does not match the other foot.

Anyone know if Ice has been injured??? Why does she have a boot on her right foot??

I think Nika had a boot on for a while there when she wasn't playing. Probably rolled the ankle and they want it to remain stationary when not playing as a restorative thing.
