I'm of the belief that we shouldn't be recruiting kids with his high school profile (ranking, reasonable projections).

That being said and given that, huge kudos to the young man for his mental toughness and determination to become a valuable part of being Uconn back.

He should play more. I’d like him to be the guy that won’t accept mediocrity from his teammates. His motor can’t be taught.

He makes things happen (sometimes bad things) when he's in the game. He's active defensively and on the boards and looks to actually be a threat offensively (although I could do without him taking 15 foot jumpers.)

He played great. I never really thought he was good enough for this level but he improved a ton in the offseason with both his body and game. It's nice to see and I'm happy for him.

He knows his role and plays it. Does everything at 100%. He is totally maximizing his abilities with his work ethic. Consummate role player. So happy he stayed.
