Poor Alex needs an exorcist

Then, he plows over a defender in an attempt to score.

Finally he throws an attempted layup with such velocity that it become a net ball. A net ball.

I feel sorry for him, but he doesn't seem capable of breaking this curse without divine intervention.

Let's not forget getting stripped off a defensive rebound from behind because he was standing there holding it like statue - should have been an easy layup for G'town but guy missed a chippee. He has played absolutely F- basketball this year. Forget the assanine points per minute stat some other guy came up with - let's stay with the mojo/eyeball test.

Speaking of mojo, who was that cat that always drummed it up.

Team needs to duct tape Alex, bath him in some holy water and say three our father's.

he hasnt really improved since freshman year.. last year when he played with effort and intensity, he played well but this year its like he took multiple steps back

It's a sad situation really. Playing sports in college should be a fun experience, but right now it doesn't look fun for him, or even for Jeremy or Shabazz. Expectations were certainly unreasonable for this team, and the target that's always on the back of National Champion doesn't help. I'm sure he wants to play well, I just don't think he's mentally able to right now.

I've tried to explain Alex's deal with some fellow workers who only casually watch the games and truthfully I am at a loss for words at this pt. in the season. By now I would have thought looking at last year there would be some improvement or at least a maintaining of last years standard but man what the hell has happened to the guy. This is the curse of the Scoe affecting the team. It can't be stopped without repentance and restitution.

Never said he was a guaranteed first round pick, but he sure isn't helping his stock. he's still got time to right the ship and like i said Alex along Boat, Lamb, Scoe, and Drummond need to play 10-20 minute straight without interruptions, and you will see the improvements immediately.

Playing a couple min at a time won't help him. As painful as it is he needs to stay on the floor to get some feel for the game.
