Buck had a pretty good game last night, but she never looks for her offense. Opposing defenses will have a field day with us if they know they can back off our last player off the bench.

OK, so I'm borrowing this PON from other contributors in the past, but let's face it. KML was a complete no-show last night.

Once again a team with inferior talent assisted a higher percentage of their baskets (10/14 v. 28/40). Doesn't anyone else find this to be an alarming trend? Can we just stop fooling ourselves with this "efficient offense" pretense?

Our bigs did not get to the foul line once; we obviously did not try hard enough to score in the paint despite what the numbers suggest.

Every game we get a mug shot of either Manuel or Herbst. They shouldn't be cheering our sports programs when they could be on the phone 24/7 to ACC Presidents. I don't care if Herbst actually garnered the support of Tobacco Road to favor us over Louisville, failure to persuade FSU, Clemson, etc. lies with her being where she shouldn't be, at a game. Come to think of it, Ollie's been at the women's games as well. Yeah, it's his fault, too.

Don't forget Colgate scored more 3 pt FGs against us than they have against anyone all year. Second team in a row to shoot better from the 3 pt line than from the field against us. I see a trend.

UConn had to get 37 points from Faris and Banks to eeek out a victory. These two players only averaged 10 points a game combined last year. Clearly the offense is stalled and if it can't get moving, we are doomed.

Yeah, it would be nice if someone else could step up and score a few and take the pressure off of these two.

And our defense. It gave up 24% more points than Colgate's previous opponent, the Drexel Dragons. Obviously, there's a lot of work to be done there, too.

AND, our women coaches seemed dressed in high fashion rather than for basketball. Geno's tie lacked style. No wonder we have problems.

Once again, we let the other team score the last bucket. Thus far, that has happened in every game. A very dangerous precedent. Then all we do to retaliate for that bucket is just stand around and dribble the ball. You'd think the game was already won!!!

And take a look at this. Did you see our mascot?? Is he aging??? Look closely by his ears. Isn't his hair starting to turn white???
