Of all the Power 5 conferences PAC 12 is probably the most evenly matched in their Top 5-6 teams. Stanford was able to get a #1 seeding as they dominated conference player. I don't see a team; unless its UCLA; that will run the table and end up as a #1 seed. Probably each team will end up with two or three conference losses

The Pac 12 tournament will be "must see TV". I picked UCLA to win the regular season, but I think Cal will win the tournament. This could be the best conference race in all of college basketball.

UCLA, right now, is by far the best team in the Pac 12. Jordin Canada, is the 2nd best pg (IMO) to Mo Jefferson. They have a good mixture of forwards and wings.
OSU would be close but without Wiese they have no reliable pg, who also can shoot the 3. When she comes back it will be a fight between UCLA and OSU. I am guessing Weise will be back sooner than later.
Stanford is not a top team. Stop Lili Thompson and Erica McCall and they will have games like last night, 31 points.
Cal is not deep and their pg, although a freshman, is not good enough yet to be near the top. Cal only dressed 8 and really only plays 6 players and they were dead in the 2nd half last night vs Arizona, one of the bottom teams in the Pac12.
ASU is a team where all of the players play like a team. No stars but a bunch of girls who are willing to do whatever the "team" needs. I can see them in the top 2 or 3 of the conference.
Washington is another team that is not deep, but has WCBB leading scorer in Kelsey Plum, and a couple of role players.
USC has some players that I really like and some "me" players. They need to create points on steals, turnovers, or out rebounding another team. When they get into a half court set there isnt a lot of movement.
Of the other 5 teams, Oregon, Wash St., Utah, Colorado and Arizona, I dont think any are as bad as the worst team in any of the other Power 5 conferences. I also think any of those 5 could beat any of the top teams, except UCLA.

I went for Arizona State because they've already beaten two of the better teams in the conference in Cal and Stanford. Then again, Cal might not actually be all that great.

UCLA is certainly a very good team. They took ND to overtime or so I hear, that will probably go down as the best non-televised game of the season.

I really need to catch more games from out west.
