The B12 might have shown the B10 what to do. Some sort of merge or alliance with the PAC. Football would be really good and you add the 2nd largest market. Gives traveling partners space space for other sports.

What does a scheduling alliance do for the big 10? As a top league, not sure any big school is going to have trouble finding teams to schedule.

It was actually a failed attempt at a scheduling alliance with the PAC that caused the Rutgers/Maryland B1G expansion

Big Ten, Pac-12 call off scheduling pact

The PAC better be careful. If the B1G puts a scheduling alliance on the table the PAC should jump at it before the B1G just decides to grab the schools it wants and leave the rest for dead
