So what say you?

Azura came on strong at the end - 23 points, 3 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, 4 blocks.
Pheesa was strong earlier - 22 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 3 blocks
Lou with another NPOY performance - 15 points, 9 boards, 7 assists, 3 steals
Gabby - 10 points, 6 boards, 5 assists
Kia - 13 points, 3 boards, 5 assists, 5 steals

Pheesa. She scored almost at will when the score was still relatively close.

But Lou had 9 boards again!!

Z shot 9-9 inside the arc.

Crystal had 6 points on 2 shots. Efficient!

From the radio feed, it sounded as if Gabby had a steal or near steal on every Tulane possession in 1Q.

Tougher pick but I chose Lou. It just seems like she is doing calculus while everyone else is doing algebra. I especially loved her defensive positioning and the angles she took on defense. It was poetry.

Lou gets my vote for having a "Gabby like" stat stuffer game. Unfortunately, Geno pulled her before she had a chance got a double-double or triple-double

Katie Lou with 15 points, 9 boards, 7 assists and 3 steals. She didn't really look for her 3-point shot, just 3 tonight. However, she affected the game in so many other areas. Lou was everywhere.

Geno clearly has stated how much he likes watching her play and he does not take her out in 1st half. Enuff said.

With these five starters, it could be any two, even three, on any given night. Obviously, Lou had a great all-around game. Geno paid her the highest compliment: “I like to watch her play.”

Phees? Only 9-11 FG, 4-5 FT, 5RB, 3BK, 2 assists. And did she even play 25 minutes? Geno: “Phees? ... I don’t worry about Pheesa.”

Batouly should have gotten a couple of shots. There were times she was open, but the ball kept going in the post to Z. Now's the time to get Batouly's offensive game going. She is the missing piece, the physical presence UConn needs in the front court. She is moving with ease now that the brace is off. Also, she's a hard worker.
