It seems that any opponent that UConn may face in the 2016 National Championship will bring it's own storyline to the table. Which would you all rather see?

UConn vs. Tennessee: This brings the obvious storyline. The most heralded rivalry in the history of WCBB could be revived if Tennessee completes the turnaround of what had been written off as the worst season in their history.

UConn vs. Stanford: The last team to beat UConn and also on the heels of a "subpar" regular season. Two of the most winningest coaches in WCBB history and, of course, The Karlie vs. Katie Lou showdown.

UConn vs. Syracuse: The hometown school of Stewie is forced to play UConn after refusing a matchup that would have given Stewie a true homecoming game. Also, revival of an old Big East matchup.

UConn vs Washington: Huskies vs. Huskies! Also, a matchup of two of the most talented players in the game in Stewie and Plum.

UConn/Stanford would be more fun. It would have that revenge factor, since how many times has Stanford broken UConn winning streaks? And wouldn't it be great to put Stanford in the position to break UConn's winning streak this time- but not let them do it? And to have Karlie and Katie Lou play each other would be classic!

The Tennessee and Syracuse matchups against UConn would be negative games- Hilsman's nastiness, and Tennessee's pettiness against Geno and his kids. Washington would be interesting, but sort of ho-hum, particularly since they'll probably get clobbered by Connecticut.

Does it really matter? We will smoke any one of these teams. It's now an array of second tier teams.
