Just curious what the general consensus is for the outcome of the game tomorrow.
I suspect "not good."
I suspect "not good."
I think you're delusional, but I'm also hoping you're right!Honestly think we are gonna come out and play well. We aren't as bad as a loss to an FCS. As much as no one wants to hear it, Towson isn't just another FCS this season. They are a good team.
On the other hand, Maryland is also not as good as their first 2 scores would indicate. FIU and Old Dominion. That's who Maryland has played.
We went to Maryland last year and took care of business. CJ Brown is the only difference for them. We lost a lot defensively, but I also don't think we are going to be sub-par on that side of the ball. Our offense has also gotten better.
Road wins over Maryland and Teddy Bridgewater's Louisville squad indicate to me that we can play with anyone. The vast majority of the team is back. I don't see a blow out by anyone, including next week.
Maybe I'm optimistic. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I'm delusional, but I also may be right.

Not sure you can go by those 2 scores. CJ and the starters were sitting by mid 3rd quarter or the scores would have been much worse. Now, FIU and ODU are not defensive jugernaughts so the post has some merit.
CJ is listed as the #3 QBR (97.3) after 2 games.

It will certainly be interesting but I got to believe that is a huge difference. Your true freshmen QB may be the real deal, but think about it in terms of having to start him tomorrow, what impact would that truly have.
The challenge I think you will find, as FIU and ODU found trying to look back to 2012 as comparison, RE has assemlbed some serious skilled talent and right now, everyone only knows the name Diggs. Brown and Long are difference makers as well.
True freshman QB isn't starting.
Yep, but my point was imagine. That said, not sure how much longer PP goes with Whitmer. A QBR of 108 right now and statiscally the exact same from last year. If PP is going down, not sure he does it standing still.
I didn't vote cause I have no frikkin' clue. I could see any of those four scenarios happen.
