Hurley has done a good job with much smaller sample size - christ a quick wiki search tell us Matta got a .750 winning percentage as a head guy from Butler, Xavier and OSU and won conference titles in 8 out of 17 years. Before that search I remember him being good, but looking at the resume it’s was eye opening. His last 4 years were his worst for sure - but he can recruit and coach. Im not saying he’s the guy, but if he’s healthy he needs to be given a very very strong look. Now money, cultural fit, etc. might make it a no go, but to ignore what that guy has done in favor of Hurley’s success seems to be myopic. [/QUOTE]
