Only count dunks that score points and include the NCAAT's.
Don't hold back, your vote will not be displayed.

A couple weeks ago I watched the FIBA 3X3.

After watching the 3X3, my expectations of her contributing is now, sooner rather than later

She is still a "Freshman" with a lot on her plate just as every other freshman.

Unless. She is dunking regularly in practice when Geno is watching I doubt if there will be many attempts during a game.

If Geno specifically tells her to dunk if the opportunity presents itself. . . Fans of the dunk might have a lot to smile about.

8 dunks as a freshman. As her years on team go up, the dunks will go up. Dr. A - in wbb (not Dr. J)
Get ready!

What if I think she's going to dunk exactly 15 times? Do I choose B or C?

Just kidding. If it happens more than twice I will be very surprised. This stuff is bordering on fan fiction.

I think Geno will allow her to try one. If she makes it, two.

If she gets two this season, I would consider it a major accomplishment.

Five? Put me down as: "No Way!" I'll eat crow if she does, but I've tasted that delicacy before. It's bitter but it won't kill me.

It's 0-5. She's going to need near perfect conditions. By herself with the ball, in the front court, with no defenders nearby. These situations don't come up frequently, especially for a player with limited playing time.

Geno has always said his players have the green light and that he thinks dunking is good for the women’s game. He always adds, “You better make it.”

He’s also said that Stewie could dunk consistently and with ease. She never did it in a game, and she had plenty of breakaways.

No question in my mind it’s 0 to 5, and I’d be surprised if it’s more than 0.

She has the talent and ability to dunk anytime she wants. Will she no. 5 or less regular season, won't do it in the tourney unless provoked.

Anyone want to bet Amari dunks as much as more this year than Ayanna?

One reason why I think that Ayanna will resort to dunking is because she tended to missed easy bunnies in HS.
If given a choice between missing bunnies and dunking, I think that she'd rather make some dunks.

None, I hope. Let's all of us acknowledge she can do it, and then let the coaching staff develop her talents in ways that will truly help the team, which dunking, by and large, does not.

If she missed so many bunnies in hs, why did she never dunk in a hs game?

I care. Don’t worry, I think dunks are silly from the fan’s perspective. Even irrelevant.

But they also have an intimidation factor for an opponent. Especially a dunk within the half court set, not on a fast break. This is what Ayanna can do.

IDK but Paige was said to be encouraging her to dunk.
It takes some practice to be proficient at it and Ayanna looks to have gotten stronger.
If she feels comfortable & confident enough doing it then I think that she will, all things considered.
I don't believe that female players should feel intimidated or shy about using all of their talent.
People who have a gift should use it if it's safe to do it, makes them feel good to do it & it benefits the team.
I'll bet that most UConn student WBB fans don't have the same negative feelings about dunking that older fans do.
And that may also affect whether Ayanna chooses to dunk or not, and how often.

If Ayanna can make NIL money by becoming a dunker the she should just do it.
Maybe she can get enough attention to get signed by Nike.
That would be a real honor for a UConn player, for UConn & it would benefit her financially too.
Just Do It Ayanna!
Especially while on national TV, it would create instant fame & social media following.
