For those of us who live west of the Mississippi the situation today really bites. WTIC via the Internet is all we've got (at least as far as I know). One of the biggest games in the history of the program and there's no way way to watch the game. So, from one UConn alum and fellow Husky football fan to all of you going to the game, please post pictures . . . of anything you'd want to see if you were in our shoes today. Guess I could have done that but the LA/MS state line is about an 6 hr drive from Dallas. More importantly, I'm not sure I'd want to pull off the freeway and mosey into any old honky tonk bar and ask the bartender to turn the TV from the Alabama game to UConn-Michigan. That would not be smart. I don't speak southern that well yet and I'd want a posse with me anyhow.

Wow, thanks! I checked the ESPN3 schedule yesterday and didn't see the game listed there. Now I do. This is great news! Thank you! Now all the Huskies need to do is show up and play their best possible game, and keep Michigan from playing theirs. I am STOKED! Gonna to clear the decks of all unnecessary activities for the rest of the day. Already chain sawed a large pecan tree into firewood for a neighbor and have 3/4 of an acre of grass to mow, and then I'm done. I'm thinking maybe some Dos Equis Amber or Shiner Bocks are in order considering fall is just one day away. Can't wait for this game now, even if I'm 1,400 miles away. Gooooooo Huskies!
