Has anyone noticed that when we throw the ball down to AO or AD on the post, it doesnt even matter how good their post moves are. The fact that our bigs are so big and CAN BE dominant down low, the defense has to collapse when AO/AD gets the ball. All we need is a little kick out to JL or SN on the open wing, and its increases are scoring percentage immensely. Every time we have worked the ball inside out this season (maybe 15 times??), it has created open shots. It seems like a simple adjustment to our 1-4 offensive set up that would involve something besides having to get yourself open every possession. It would also please fans that SN and JL aren't uselessly dribbling the ball for 30 seconds at the top of the key.

It would be nice if our big men could actually shoot the ball. If they can do that, we're easily Final Four material.

You can't play inside-out until the interior players prove they can beat their guys one-in-one...for now they see little or no help from the perimeter defnders because thre is little fear of impact.

You also can't play inside-out if one of your key big men has the inability to catch and/or pass the ball. Inside-out offense will only work with this group if Olander is playing more minutes than AO, and I'm not sure that is a good idea...

You and mau have described the problem in detail. AO, AD and RS are poor passers and scorers. TO is a good passer and he is a decent shooter from fifteen feet. But he gets blocked easily when he is near the basket and he struggles against stronger and taller players on the defensive end in getting rebounds and preventing them from scoring.
