One of the many blessings BY'ers and UCONN fans have is the ability to debate just how good our best players are. When you consider the all time greatest, most agree it would be Stewie, Maya and Dee. Individually they have the most NC's and the most individual hardware (accolades) of any other UCONN players. Then you look at the next tier of UCONN greats - if you take the players off the wall of honor, the list includes Bascomb, Lobo, Rizotti, Wolters, Sales, Abrosimova, Ralph, Bird, Cash, Montgomery, Charles, Dolson, Hartley, KML, Jefferson and Tuck. If you look at that incredible list, maybe you put Bird, Charles and Jefferson as the next tier? 1A? Any others? then go to 1AA. Abrosimova and Ralph would likely be higher on any UCONN "all time greats" lists if not for injuries. No idea how good Tuck could have been had her knees been whole for 4 years. Point is, where will Gabby, Lou and Napheesa end up when all is said and done? All of them will be on the wall at the end of this season (or whenever it's unveiled). Will Lou and/or Napheesa be considered up there with the big 3? Or will they be the next tier down? Or lower?
