Fairly siimilar to the one that Lindsay got on Monday. Kathryn Moore is going to have to add yet another wing on to that house. :)

It is, its from the same Company, just as the one Lebron received on Monday also.

My thoughts, exactly. Maya was all over the floor -- hustling on offense and defense, and playing with incredible Basketball IQ. And amazing skills. She made some amazing passes to teammates who scored.

It will be interesting to see how many minutes Maya plays in the BIG games and close games. She is sure earning a "stars role" in these exhibitions.

It was interesting, today, that the big team that started the game could not defensively stop the British Guards. And with Tina, Sylvia and Candice on the floor, Team USA could not figure out how to score inside on the Brit's defense.

The team was an embarrassment today until Geno put the smaller, quicker athletes in the game at the 5 minute mark of the first quarter. Maya was sensational. Lindsey was terrific, again. Angel and Siemone played well. Asjha was rusty. Swin was disappointing. And Candice was surprisingly ineffective (as she was in the Brazil game).

JMHOs -- but that was how it looked from Vermont.

It reminded me of our threads on who starts for UConn this season. Maya came off the bench--and played 24 minutes, more than some of the starters.

Maya gave the team something it desperately needed today: ENERGY. Angel and Whalen, too.

The starting unit desperately needs a true PG; that was evident today.

Neither Fowles nor Tina seem particularly into the flow yet, which is a shame because they're both supremely talented. Hopefully that is corrected.

Candace seemed to play better as the big in a small lineup than she did as the wing in a big lineup.

It's quite a luxury to be able to win by 25 when D and Tamika, only two of the best women's players of the past 15 years, have off games. And Augustus, prbably the best women's player of the past 12 months.

Hoping Asjha can get into the flow now that she's playing. I enjoyed her at UConn and have enjoyed watching her as her game's developed professionally.
