I don’t think she was at the team dinner whose pic was posted yesterday, either.

It's has happened before. UConn has a system that ensures academics and basketball both reach their goals. I am sure she would have loved to be there to cheer, even if she didn't play. Hopefully she is doing what she needs to do and can rejoin the bench on Monday. I really like to watch her play and hope she develops into a force.

Everyone please stop. This is not the first time that a player has been kept at campus for academic reasons, and we have no idea the why's behind the decision.
Exactly! Years ago Molly Bent missed a game or two to stay back to study and she was an honor student. Everyone knew the likelihood of Piath playing was slim, so why not let her get productive studying in rather just sitting on the bench. After all, they are STUDENT athletes, not athlete students!
