Physical Play in Conference Finals yesterday

Seems most officials yesterday let them play. Iowa/Maryland was a very physical game with all those guarding Gustafson fouling out. Notre Dame beat Louisville to death on the boards. Stanford/Oregon had bodies hitting the floor. Will be interested to see if this trend continues throughout the NCAA tournament. I know it gets more physical this time of year, but at times yesterday it seemed a bit extreme at times.

I really dont like watching physical play. Glad to hear that fouls were called - hope they continue to call them. Actually wish they would call more as long as they call consistently.

To me the beauty of the women's game is in the motion, passing, and running games. Playing physical just makes it look like a poor imitation of the men's game. Personally, I wish they would tighten up the rules and calls to keep the game from getting "physical".

And please dont say "The refs are letting them play!" when they are letting them play rugby!
