Is this related to work in the gym/court or academics and community service.

y'know, when we talk about next year we rarely mention Nolan, and I'm as guilty as anyone

that might be a huge mistake, the kid made incredible progress last year and if that continues he can make a big impact

good job Phil, keep up the hard work on and off the court

Phil's game reminds me a lot of Rod Sellers' game...he will definitely be a strong contributor next season.

I think his work ethic is alot like Rods but I think there is actually more there and we will begin to see it next year. He can shoot the ball for sure!!

Philip Nolan is definitely growing on me. I got a very poor first impression on him, as would anyone who was at the exhibition game vs American International. If I recall correctly he missed at least 4 or 5 easy, under the basket layups. 3 of them back to back to back. Over the course of the season he really stepped up. Especially in the last few games. Really looking forward to watching him play next season.

Phil had some moment's late in the year when he seemed to decide the ball was his when a big rebound was needed. I'm not sure he can maintain such a high level of intensity as he came to show in spurts. He also showed some surprising poise at times. At the same time, it seems like he has to really embrace being an inside player and not tend to drift outside or be a finesse-type player. He needs an injection of "Attitude of Jeff Adrien." I hope he can really develop the toughness that Rod Sellers played with...he really competed and played smart.
